The Global Solutions Summit 2026 brought together international thought leaders and high-ranking political guests on 1 and 2 June 2026 at the AXICA Forum, Pariser Platz 3 – to forge new alliances and find shared solutions in a fractured world.
Under the theme ‘Finding Common Ground in a Fractured World’, international representatives from politics, business, academia and civil society discussed concrete approaches to tackling global challenges. Among the most prominent guests from German politics were former Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Federal Minister for the Environment Carsten Schneider.
AXICA’s architecturally spectacular Forum formed the centrepiece of the summit. This is where the main plenary sessions took place, flanked by additional spaces for workshops, networking and in-depth discussions. The distinctive architecture by Frank O. Gehry, the location right next to the Brandenburg Gate and the technical facilities created an environment in which thought-provoking content and inspiring encounters came together seamlessly.
Behind the scenes, the AXICA team ensured that everything ran smoothly. Project manager Tetyana Hess, in collaboration with the Global Solutions Initiative, co-ordinated the diverse requirements of a top-tier international event – from the spatial design and logistics right through to the culinary concepts that underscored the spirit of the summit.
The Global Solutions Summit 2026 impressively demonstrated how important spaces are that facilitate exchange, bring different perspectives together and foster new alliances for joint action. We are proud that AXICA was once again able to provide the stage and an inspiring setting for this global dialogue.
