Berlin Global Dialogue ESMT

The Ber­lin Glo­bal Dia­lo­gue is a new inter­na­tio­nal forum that brings tog­e­ther busi­ness and poli­ti­cal lea­ders to find com­mon solu­ti­ons for a glo­bal eco­no­my in tran­si­ti­on. Foun­ded by Lars Hen­drik Röl­ler, Chief Eco­no­mic Advi­sor to for­mer Ger­man Chan­cell­or Ange­la Mer­kel, the Ber­lin Glo­bal Dia­lo­gue helps lea­ders around the world shape the­se tran­si­ti­ons by pro­vi­ding inter­na­tio­nal per­spec­ti­ves, faci­li­ta­ting col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve con­ver­sa­ti­ons and dri­ving con­cre­te progress.

The inau­gu­ral Ber­lin Glo­bal Dia­lo­gue Sum­mit focu­sed on the three tran­si­ti­ons that are sha­ping our com­mon future:

  • Tran­si­ti­on to a New Eco­no­mic World Order
  • Tran­si­ti­on to a low-car­bon economy
  • Tran­si­ti­on to a just society.

We had the honour of hos­ting the din­ner for the Ber­lin Glo­bal Dia­lo­gue event and ser­ving our signa­tu­re menu „This is us“ to the guests – a menu crea­ted by our kit­chen crew that shows how „sexy“ and tasty a menu can be, with com­pon­ents most­ly from the region:

  • Mari­na­ted cele­riac with jel­lied apple and wal­nut ice cream.
  • Fla­med pas­tu­re-rai­sed beef with a papri­ka jus, ragout of smo­ked beans and fried cabbage.
  • Stur­ge­on from the 25 Ponds with fen­nel and spin­ach rou­la­de, vanil­la toma­toes and anis­eed barley.
  • Tartlet of Jeru­sa­lem articho­ke and spin­ach with a papri­ka sau­ce, ragout of smo­ked beans and deep-fried cabbage.
  • Tart of dark cho­co­la­te with cher­ry cream.
