Accor­ding to the Digi­tal Report 2022 by We Are Social and Hoot­suite 2022, 72.6 mil­li­on of all peo­p­le living in Ger­ma­ny actively use social media (inclu­ding Whats­App and You­Tube). This cor­re­sponds to 86.5 per­cent of the Ger­man popu­la­ti­on. And the trend is rising.
So it is no lon­ger a ques­ti­on of whe­ther, but how we as a com­pa­ny are pre­sent on social media plat­forms! For the B2B sec­tor, for exam­p­le, Lin­ke­dIn’s Sta­te of Sales Report 2022 shows that social sel­ling is now an important com­po­nent of com­pa­nies‘ mar­ke­ting and sales stra­te­gies: 75% of the B2B sales pro­fes­sio­nals sur­vey­ed now rate the suc­cess rate of making cont­act via Lin­ke­dIn as being just as high as through per­so­nal inter­ac­tion at trade fairs or con­fe­ren­ces. The infor­ma­ti­ve key­note speech was fol­lo­wed by a lively ques­ti­on-and-ans­wer ses­si­on, which also allo­wed for con­tro­ver­si­al opi­ni­ons. Many guests then sought a per­so­nal exch­an­ge with our spea­k­er. The evening ended with deli­ca­ci­es from our kit­chen, good con­ver­sa­ti­on and a won­derful view of the blue Ber­lin sky.
