“The shape of the fish is the perfect example of movement. I try to capture this movement in my buildings”. With this quote from award-winning architect Frank O. Gehry, AXICA invited guests to its “Open Day” on October 3 and 4.
During the guided tours, guests had the opportunity to discover the special rooms of the building at Pariser Platz 3 and learn anecdotes from AXICA’s 25 years of event organization: A walk-in sculpture as a conference room, over 530 square meters of red carpeting in the Forum or a fascinating view of the Quadriga from the Sky Lobby – things that are otherwise reserved for only a few people. Over 200 people took the opportunity to explore the building on the tours, marvel at the reflections, discover visual axes and materials and, of course, take plenty of photos.
It was a wonderful experience for us to see the enthusiasm that Frank Gehry’s architecture still inspires in visitors after 25 years. An enthusiasm that we are so happy to share!
