On June 5, 2025, we welcomed the BDE Federal Association of the German Waste Management, Water, and Recycling Industry to our premises for Circular Economy Day. With this event, the BDE has created a platform that promotes important dialogue between politics, business, and society on the subject of the circular economy.
The event offered the approximately 450 participants in our forum exciting keynotes, lively panel talks, and a diverse exhibition in the foyer. “Our economy faces enormous challenges – but also enormous opportunities,” emphasized Anja Siegesmund, Executive President of the BDE, in her welcome address. The participation of the new Federal Minister for the Environment, Climate Protection, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety, Carsten Schneider, was particularly important.
We were delighted to receive feedback from Dirk Böttner-Langolf, press spokesman and head of communications, press and public relations at the BDE:
„Dear Ms. Fauzan, thank you very much for providing the impressive AXICA premises for our ‘Circular Economy Day’. The extraordinary architecture and inspiring ambience contributed significantly to the success of the event. We would particularly like to highlight the excellent cooperation with the entire AXICA team – from technical support and event management to the service staff. The consistently friendly and professional manner of everyone involved contributed greatly to the positive atmosphere.”
The “Circular Economy Day” impressively demonstrated how important it is to promote the circular economy as a decisive economic and location factor – a cause that we, as a venue for sustainable congresses and conferences, are happy to support.
