From 26 to 28 May 2026, AXICA at Pariser Platz 3 became the meeting place for the international music publishing industry. Through ICMP Music Minds Europe, the international umbrella organisation for music publishers brought together leading experts, industry representatives and partners from the worlds of music, technology and politics in Berlin.
The three-day event focused on current developments and future trends in the music industry – including new business models, data, metadata and the challenges facing a changing sector. Alongside specialist sessions and expert panels, the format offered numerous opportunities for personal exchange and international networking.
AXICA provided the architecturally distinctive setting for key programme highlights of the conference. Located directly at the Brandenburg Gate and characterised by Frank Gehry’s extraordinary architecture, the event venue consistently succeeds in offering an inspiring space for dialogue, encounters and new perspectives, particularly for international conferences.
As they say so beautifully in Berlin, “there’s music in the air” – and at ICMP Music Minds Europe, you could take that quite literally.
For us as the event venue, it was a great pleasure to see how the specialist audience was captivated by the building’s unique architecture and enjoyed the discussions in the light-filled space – with superb acoustics.
