23rd Annual Conference of the German Council for Sustainable Development

What holds our society together in turbulent times? How can climate protection be made socially just? What roles do education and employment play? And why is the protection of biodiversity also a social issue? The German Council for Sustainable Development addressed these and other questions at its 23rd annual conference, which was held under the motto “Sustainability in the stress test – how do we ensure social cohesion?”. It took place all day on October 8, 2024 at AXICA.

In addition to numerous Council members and other exciting guests, the speakers included Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Our rooms offered space for a wide range of exchanges. After the keynote speeches in the large forum under the glass dome, lively discussions on the questions posed continued in the Sky Lobby, the auditorium, the plenum and the foyer. Our flexible workshop furniture was used in many rooms to support the communicative discussions. The well-planned security concept ensured the smooth participation of the Federal Chancellor and other high-ranking guests. Our project managers Nina Ostheeren-Benedicter and Tetyana Hess were delighted with how professionally all the organizers and service providers worked together.

And so everyone involved is already looking forward to the 24th annual RNE conference.
