ISO certification Sustainable Event Management

For us at AXICA, sustainability isn’t a trend – it’s part of our everyday culture. And now it’s official: since September 2025, AXICA has been certified according to ISO 20121, the international standard for sustainable event management.

This marks another important milestone alongside our existing ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management. The new standard helps us embed sustainability even more deeply across all areas – from planning and implementation to the post-event process.

Our Sustainability and Quality Management Officer, Alexandra Beck, sums it up perfectly:
“The decision to pursue this certification came naturally from our existing quality management certification. For us, such accreditations are far more than mere quality seals – they provide concrete guidelines that help us continuously develop, question our processes, realign our focus, and maintain an active dialogue with all relevant stakeholders. For our clients and partners, these certificates are also a credible testament to our forward-looking commitment.”

For us, one thing is certain: sustainable action is not a final goal but an ongoing process – and with ISO 20121, we now have the right framework to continue this journey with structure and conviction.

Our certification ISO 20121.
