The RNE Annual Conference 2025 brought together around 500 participants at AXICA – a venue whose ISO 20121 certification and long-standing commitment to sustainable event management provided a fitting setting for this important gathering.
Key themes included international partnerships in times of geopolitical change, a sustainable and competitive Europe, and the role of nature as a driver of resilience and innovation. Speakers included EU Commissioner Jessika Roswall and Thorsten Frei, Head of the German Chancellery. A thought-provoking statement from Achim Steiner (UN) set the tone: “The alternative to cooperation is escalation.”
With great dedication, our project manager Nina Ostheeren-Benedicter oversaw the event and ensured that guests and speakers felt well taken care of throughout the day. The unique architecture and atmosphere of AXICA added to the inspiring and forward-looking spirit of the conference.
