This important con\u00adfe\u00adrence was orga\u00adni\u00adzed by the<strong> Ger\u00adman Fede\u00adral Minis\u00adtry for Eco\u00adno\u00admic Coope\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon and Deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment in coope\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon with the World Bank Group.<\/strong><br>The Forum pro\u00advi\u00added an oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty for poli\u00adcy makers, prac\u00adti\u00adtio\u00adners and social pro\u00adtec\u00adtion experts to joint\u00adly explo\u00adre and dis\u00adcuss the scope and poten\u00adti\u00adal of Adap\u00adti\u00adve Social Pro\u00adtec\u00adtion (ASP) to streng\u00adthen resi\u00adli\u00adence in the face of mul\u00adti\u00adple, over\u00adlap\u00adping cri\u00adses in all count\u00adries around the world and to pro\u00admo\u00adte adapt\u00ada\u00adti\u00adon.<br>More than <strong>300 par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpan\u00adts from 60 dif\u00adfe\u00adrent count\u00adries<\/strong> atten\u00added in per\u00adson, inclu\u00adding repre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adti\u00adves from govern\u00adments, inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal orga\u00adniza\u00adti\u00adons, aca\u00adde\u00admia, and the pri\u00adva\u00adte sec\u00adtor. Live\u00adstreams of the ope\u00adning, clo\u00adsing and ple\u00adna\u00adry ses\u00adsi\u00adons were view\u00aded over 4000 times. <strong>100 spea\u00adk\u00aders<\/strong>, mode\u00adra\u00adtors and panelists con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adted to the <strong>18 ses\u00adsi\u00adons<\/strong> hos\u00adted by deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment orga\u00adniza\u00adti\u00adons and part\u00adners inclu\u00adding UKAID\/STAAR, ADB, Insu\u00adRe\u00adsi\u00adli\u00adence, ILO, PEI, UNICEF, UNHCR, UNU-EHS, WFP and FAO.<br>In addi\u00adti\u00adon to the lar\u00adge forum, our ple\u00adna\u00adry and sky lob\u00adby pro\u00advi\u00added space for par\u00adal\u00adlel ses\u00adsi\u00adons and side events. Our spa\u00adcious foy\u00ader and adja\u00adcent con\u00adfe\u00adrence rooms and audi\u00adto\u00adri\u00adum were used throug\u00adhout the day for hos\u00adpi\u00adta\u00adli\u00adty and bila\u00adte\u00adral discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the event, we recei\u00adved won\u00adderful feed\u00adback, which Pro\u00adject Mana\u00adger Dewi\u00adya\u00adna Fau\u00adzan and the enti\u00adre AXICA team were deligh\u00adted about:<br><strong>\u201eAXICA gave the Glo\u00adbal Forum on Adap\u00adti\u00adve Social Pro\u00adtec\u00adtion an excep\u00adtio\u00adnal home and thus a fit\u00adting set\u00adting for the topic of social pro\u00adtec\u00adtion.
