THE GERMAN MEETINGS & EVENT CONFERENCE

As president of the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Germany Mr Jochen Lohmar, axica Managing Director, would like to take this opportunity to inform you about the MPI Dialogue Day being held in Essen.

THE axica IN BARCELONA

In 2008 the axica will once again be present at the EIBTM in Barcelona: the international trade fair devoted to the congress, meeting, event and incentive industry. From the 2nd to 4th December 2008 you will find us on the “Germany” stand (J100), in the “Berlin” section.

With these words from sought after Key Note Speaker and Presenter, Beat Krippendorf, axica invites guests to the premiere of the axica Summer Summit. And just like it says on the box, Beat, Lecturer of Business Management, Marketing and Public Speaking, will deliver some thought provoking ideas during the workshop. On the 11th July around 60 corporate meeting planners from some of Germany’s leading corporations will gather in the axica’s unique “Plenum” to experience for themselves the building’s extravagant design, outstanding acoustic and state of the art conference technology. Topics such as “Ethic and Management “ and “High Tech to High Touch” will provide further stimuli for active discussion.

The Meeting Professionals International (MPI) World Education Congress is taking place in Las Vegas, USA from the 9th to the 12th August. axica’s Mark Charles Felstead, International Sales, will be attending to take full advantage of the chance to meet some of 3500 top meetings planners arriving from the four corners of the globe and to exchange ideas and cultural perspectives. Together with partners the German Convention Bureau (GCB) and the Berlin Convention Office, the axica will be exhibiting at the MPI WEC market place to present Germany, Berlin and of course the axica conference and event location in its best light.

satis&fy AND axica FORM CO-OPERATION

Starting May this year the Production Company satis&fy AG Berlin (s&f) and the axica Congress- and Conference Center Pariser Platz 3 Ltd have come together to form a mutual co-operation. satis&fy will serve as the preferred partner for the supplying of technical and decorative components for events held within the axica in an agreement that runs for the next two years. » Press release as PDF download
